Dress Code

Our dress code prepares students for success by eliminating distractions, allowing dancers to move safely and properly, increasing focus, and improving confidence.

Please ensure all dance shoes are only be worn inside the dance studio. Shoes worn outside may bring inside dirt or rocks that damage the floor. Students out of dress code may be asked to sit and observe class for safety purposes.

Acro

ALL Ages/Levels

Attire - Form fitting attire such as a tank top and shorts/leggings, leotard, or biketard. NO sweat pants or loose fitting shirts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a bun or ponytail. For dancers with long hair, a bun is encouraged. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - None (barefoot)

Adult Classes

Attire - Athletic attire students can easily move in.
Hair - Pulled back away from the face
Shoes
- Ballet - any color ballet flat.
- Tap - black tap shoes, ties preferred.
- Hip Hop - clean sneaker (may not be worn outside)
- Fitness - clean sneaker (may not be worn outside)

Ballet

Pre-Ballet Ages 4-6:

Attire - Any color leotard, ballet pink tights, skirt is optional (NO shorts). Boys wear form fitting shirt and shorts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a bun. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Ballet Pink Ballet Shoes (Canvas preferred). Boys may wear black.

Ballet A:

Attire - Any color leotard, ballet pink tights. Skirts allowed, no shorts. Boys wear form fitting shirt and shorts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a bun. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Ballet Pink Canvas Ballet Shoes. Boys may wear black.

Ballet B, II/III, and Teen:

Attire - Black color leotard, ballet pink tights. Boys wear form fitting shirt and shorts. NO skirts or shorts allowed to be worn over or connected to leotard.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a bun. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Ballet Pink Canvas Ballet Shoes. Boys may wear black. No leather shoes.

Ballet III-IV + IV/V:

Attire - Any color leotard, ballet pink tights. Skirts allowed, no shorts. Boys wear form fitting shirt and shorts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a bun. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Ballet Pink Canvas Ballet Shoes. Boys may wear black. No leather shoes.

Combo Classes + Tiny Dancers

Tiny Dancers & Pre-Ballet/Jazz Ages 3-5

Attire - Any color leotard, ballet pink tights, skirt is optional (NO shorts). Boys wear form fitting shirt and shorts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a bun. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Ballet Pink Ballet Shoes (Canvas preferred). Boys may wear black.

Jazz/Acro Combo Ages 4-6 and 6-8

Attire - Form fitting attire such as a tank top and shorts/leggings, leotard, or biketard. NO sweat pants or loose fitting shirts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a bun or ponytail. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - None (barefoot)

Hip Hop/Acro Combo

Attire - Form fitting attire such as a tank top and shorts/leggings, leotard, or biketard. NO sweat pants or loose fitting shirts.

Shoes - Capezio Footundeez

Contemporary IV/V

Attire - Form fitting attire such as a tank top and shorts/leggings, leotard, or biketard. NO sweat pants or loose fitting shirts.
Shoes - Barefoot
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a ponytail, bun, or braid. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.

Hip Hop

ALL Ages/Levels

Attire - Loose fitting attire such as sweat pants and a t-shirt.
Hair - Pulled back into a ponytail or braid. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Clean sneakers. Shoes must be for studio use ONLY and not worn outside.

Jazz + Musical Theatre Classes

Jazz & Musical Theatre Ages 7-10

Attire - Form fitting attire such as a tank top and shorts/leggings, leotard, or biketard. NO sweat pants or loose fitting shirts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a ponytail or bun. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Capezio Footundeez

Jazz II/III, Jazz Teen, Musical Theatre Teen

Attire - Form fitting attire such as a tank top and shorts/leggings, leotard, or biketard. NO sweat pants or loose fitting shirts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a ponytail, bun, or braid. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Capezio Footundeez

Jazz IV/V

Attire - Form fitting attire such as a tank top and shorts/leggings, leotard, or biketard. NO sweat pants or loose fitting shirts.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a ponytail, bun, or braid. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
Shoes - Barefoot

Tap

Attire - Athletic attire students can easily move in. Loose fitting pants may not go past the ankle.
Shoes - Black tap shoes, ties are preferred.
Hair - Pulled back neatly into a ponytail, bun, or braid. Short hair must be pulled away from the face neatly.
